Fabulous Fall

Summer is hands down my favorite season, but to be honest, I always welcome Autumn with open arms.  I adore the feeling of cool breezes across my skin and have a special spot in my heart for the changing leaves. Not to mention, I wait all year to buy pumpkin spice everything and always look forward to wearing my Steve Madden boots.  Since last year was spent renting a small condo, I wasn't able to enjoy the full blown Autumn decorating I have grown to know and love.  So, this year, in my real house, I made my TH march straight up to the attic and get down my storage bins of Fall decor...this year it was ON!

Despite the fact I have been reusing the same decorating supplies for years, I never seem to remember all that I have.  So, when I made a quick trip to Michael's to stock up on a few new items, I was nearly overwhelmed with all my orange, red and brown goods!

First up, I had to take my regular old stuff and add a touch of Fall to every corner of "common area".

Made Fall-abulous!
With just some recycled orange and bronze fabric (from my sister-in-law's wedding) I transformed that old entry way table into a serious color attraction for the eyes.  Add some pumpkins and leaves in a glass risers and you are really in business. How about some fall colored marbles in that vintage milk bottle? Done!  Throw in a pumpkin spice candle and long stemmed autumn leaves into that old pitcher and my entry way now screams..."Fall-abulous!"

Once in the front door and blown away by that entry way, a quick glance to your left will bring you to the frame party above my fireplace.  Usually left to their natural bare brass, a quick craft of leaves and burlap string gives them a whole new look.

As your eyes continue to travel down to the fireplace, the normal glass & candle showcase has also been seasonaly spruced up with more fun fabric and a good shake of a tree branch.

With some more leaves sprinkled by the TV, some orange and red pillows thrown on the couch and another pumpkin spice candle on the coffee table, the family room is warm, inviting and oh so Fall!

Gotta love those mini pumpkin and squashes!
As we travel to the dining room, my collection of vintage glasses and decanters also gets a Fall-abulous touch as more leaves get sprinkled on my one of a kind hutch.

Think my antique china hutch doesn't need a little Autumn touch? Think again!  More fabric, leaves, pumpkin and squash to the rescue!

That randomly glorious furniture warehouse dining room table I love so much also got a little attention with a big orange pumpkin placed front and center on my latest garage sale snag...a heavy platter for only $3!

That bar cart I constantly redecorate? It too got hit with a flash of Fall!  That candle being weighed there, BEST thing I ever got in the mail...thanks TM!

Last but certainly not least, the kitchen.  Each year I cover my stools with leaves and snowflakes.  For Spring and Summer they go back to their lovely natural state of blues, greens and pinks.  So, for now, let's bring on the leaves until December 1st!

With four $1 orange towels from Target, my kitchen has the final touch to become utterly and totally Fall-abulous.

With all my candles going, my cozy clothes on and a pumpkin spice latte to sip, I dare say I have died and gone to Autumn!  What are some Fall-abulous things you do to get in the seasonal spirit?
