Nest-A-Palooza: Kitchen Knob Completion

If you don't already know that I am obsessed with knobs, please know.  I have been collecting hooks and knobs for ages, all with the hope that one day I could outfit my real life kitchen using all my sassy gems.  Low and behold, the time is now!! With too many to choose from, I enlisted my friend Shell and got to organizing by color and style.

With my beauties all on display we went back and forth between ceramic and glass.  After much debate we decided to do one of each on the paired cabinets and only ceramic when dealing with a single.  Shell took her usual time and care to find just the right glass compliment to the ceramic pattern of her choosing and getting my approval.  I mean she is the one with an interior design degree, experience as a floor designer for Crate & Barrel and now quickly climbing the ranks at Anthropologie.  Needless to say, she has a true gift and I was happy to let her take on the artsy part of the job!

Next up, removing these booorrriiinnngg knobs from my bright white cabinets and replacing them with my dream knobs!

With the knobs easily removed using a screw driver we threw those uglies in a bag for the attic and put on my sweeties!  One by one we carefully made sure the design was on point and were ecstatic as the kitchen transformed from drab to super stylish.

Soon, all the cabinets were complete and my wildest dream knobs were finally becoming a reality, it was just too good to be true!

Next up on my kitchen mission is to swap out all the drawer handles.  Once that is done, a little rest before we attack the backsplash!  Do you love knobs? Ever used them to make major changes to a furniture piece or cabinet?  Tell us about it!
