Juicing Journey: Day 6
MID-POINT WEIGH IN: Just for fun, we weighed ourselves. I went down from 150 to 143, while my TH went from 225 to 217. I thought I was looking a bit "fitter", now I knew why! We just seemed to shrink a bit, like some excess skin we may not have needed tightened up. Keep in mind my use of the word skin is synonymous with fat in this situation. After my TH set off for work, I got up, made some....(drum roll), you guessed it, apple juice. Then, I juiced our meals for the rest of the day. Using 1 bundle of green lettuce, 2 cucumbers, 5 carrots, 1 bundle of collard greens, 1 pineapple and 10 apples I got to work. 5 jars and an apple juice to go cup (for my TH), I was off to deliver his 3 jars to the fire house.
My TH was being the dedicated firefighter that we all know and love and was mopping the floors when I arrived. I handed off his "meals", smiled as the other guys snickered at our odd ways and hopped back in the car. I went back home, put on sweats and enjoyed a lazy Saturday. It is not often that I have NOTHING to do and am actually at home, so I took full advantage. I watched more food and water-u-mentries on Netflix, (Tapped is a great one), caught up on my shows and relaxed. I only got up to fill up my water, pound some more juice or go potty. All in all, it was a great day! Since my TH was taken care of and I still had some juice for the evening, I decided yet again to hold off on juicing until the morning. Besides, I was all out of veggies and needed to get more anyway!
