Food Movement: Are You In or Out?
For those of you who haven’t joined the food movement, join it. How many bodies you think this life is going to give you? Let me give you a hint…ONE! So, take what your momma gave you and make the most out of it!
Lucky for me, my mom is the queen of “food-u-mentries” and does her best to brainwash me whenever possible. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but sometimes I like to live in the whole “ignorance is bliss” idea.
Well, since her Netflix streaming is always full of horrific, eye-opening videos I like to watch and give myself a weekly dose of reality. I know some of you are thinking, “Come on, you believe that crap?”. The answer is yes and no. While I do believe it while I am watching it and usually am so sick I freak out for hours following, I do my research. Because I am the educated woman I am, I like to do a little, ummm, fact checking shall we say. I look up the film-makers, read all the reviews and critiques and then make my own decisions. Isn’t that what we as Americans are all about? Making our own choices on how we live? Well, we are and I do; my choice is to be healthily informed.
